For countless millions of years, trees have stood as silent witnesses to the earth’s evolution, their presence unaffected by the absence of the moon. What significance lies within these enduring expectations? It is a fundamental aspect of our existence, as humans, to define ourselves through the relationship we cultivate with our ancient mother, Earth. Yet, tragically, our ignorance of nature has inflicted deep wounds upon her.

Now, with the healing balm of awareness in our grasp, tears flow from the wellsprings of our dreams, from the grasp of our fears, from the laughter of our roots. Time is of the essence; there’s no room for hesitation. We must seize the opportunity to close the wounds of the earth.

The virtual exhibition titled „I, Tree, Life,“ featuring 30 artworks by 27 artists, curated by Samira Safari, Rasm Art Group, Fereshte Zamani Firouz, and Akram Al-Sadat Sharq Azadi (Arezoo Azadi) from Kalagh School, was showcased from March 12th to April 12th, 2024 . The exhibition was displayed on the website and the Instagram page of Rasm Art Group, as well as on the Instagram pages of Avisnet Gallery Yazd in Iran.
